I’m Emily. I was raised with the belief that Divorce was a dirty word. That if you said THAT WORD your marriage was somehow compromised. Despite not saying it, I still found myself in a situation where either my marriage was going to die or I was going to. I chose to end my marriage. When I looked around, I found that many other Evangelical or Exvangelical women were also feeling silo’d in their experience. This podcast aims to change that. Listen to stories of women who have recovered from their divorce as they share stories of surviving purity culture, marriage, betrayal, separation and recovery.
